The people we help already live in very challenging environments, where livelihoods are hard earned. Lack of vision increases this challenge enormously, often to the point of the impossible.
Jannat Aziz Eye Hospital is a beacon of light for poor people suffering from eye diseases. It is equipped with the latest state of the art equipment to diagnose and treat simple to complex eye ailments. The hospital started its operations in 2005 and is situated in the rural heartland of Punjab, near the town Gaggoo Mandi, Burewala District Vehari.
The hospital is set in 6 acres of land including a covered area of 53,000 square feet and is surrounded by lush green gardens. Our commitment is simple. We want to cure blindness, prevent people going blind, and give people the tools and education to live independently if their sight cannot be restored.
We chose vision as our goal as eye disease is unfortunately common, extremely debilitating, and is often easily treatable. Lack of vision all too often stops a bread-winner providing for their family, or a child having any chance of a fair start in an already challenging life.
Our years of work in Pakistan have given us a far-reaching and very trusted reputation.
